Join psychic medium Natalie Mawson for a late-night walk through the darker corners of Newcastle’s history on Monday 21 December 2026, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

As the city settles into the Christmas season, we step into the stories that never quite leave. This is a guided paranormal experience through some of Newcastle’s most atmospheric and storied locations — including the Tyne Bridge, the Quayside, Newcastle Castle, and further haunted sites across the city.

Along the way you’ll hear of:

The lives (and deaths) bound to the Tyne Bridge and the older crossings that once stood here

Ghosts and grim folklore of the Quayside — from restless figures said to walk the cobbles to tales of execution, suicide, and unfinished business by the river

The long, shadowed history of Newcastle Castle, including the prison years of the Keep and the stories of those who never fully left (among them the Poppy Girl / Lavender Girl)

Wider local history of witchcraft trials, folklore, and death sentencing that shaped the streets we walk

This is an evening of investigation, storytelling, and quiet respect for the past. We’ll pause for warm drinks and refreshments, giving time to talk, share experiences, and enjoy the company of others drawn to the same subjects.

What to expect

A community-minded paranormal walk late at night. Wear sensible footwear and warm clothing — December evenings on the Quayside and around the Castle can be cold. The focus is on history, atmosphere, and any experiences that arise, guided by Natalie Mawson.
