Evoking an alternate timeline where Bikini Kill predated both Romanticism and Siouxsie and The Banshees, it’s VENUS GRRRLS narrative talent that stands out once again; lead singer GK’s vocal inflections are a commanding presence against cascading riffs and synth motifs.
