Berlin-based Swiss musician Anna Erhard is opening a new chapter in her career with the release of her new single,“1000 Sheep.” The track marks the beginning of the campaign for her forthcoming album of the same name, which is set for release in February 2027.

Over recent years, Anna Erhard has established herself as one of the most distinctive voices in European indie pop. Her music lives somewhere between the laid-back spirit of Kurt Vile and the inventive charm of early Beck, blending distorted guitars and lo-fi keyboards with witty storytelling. Delivered with her trademark nonchalance, her songs transform everyday observations, travels and chance encounters into memorable musical snapshots.

Following the release of her third studio album Botanical Garden in 2024, which was widely acclaimed across Europe, Erhard embarked on sold-out tours throughout the UK and performed extensively across the continent. Highlights of this period included an appearance at the legendary Glastonbury Festival as well as strong support from BBC6 Music, featuring heavy rotation airplay and several live sessions, including a recording at London's iconic Maida Vale Studios.
