We are a group of people who meet every day of the week for discussions on issues pertaining to life, human experience, self–other relationships and sociopolitical discourse. Beyond an unusually broad scope of subjects, we pay particular attention to the way we approach a topic and to the process through which ideas unfold. We are inspired by philosophical practices centred around the idea of ‘method over doctrine’ — conversation pursued for its own sake, as a surer signpost towards truth. Anyone who feels dulled by a proliferation of themes at the expense of ideas is invited to take part in a grand adventure of the mind: a journey from contingent and expedient social constructs towards more pluralistic, overarching concepts.
