About This Event

A health walk is scheduled for Wednesday, 29 July 2026, at Gibside in Newcastle. Various leaders will guide a sociable saunter to allow participants to enjoy the views and spot wildlife. Following the walk, attendees can return to the café.

Join walk leaders for a sociable saunter to get outdoors, enjoy the views and spot wildlife along the way. Head back to the café at the end for a well-earned hot drink (optional). This walk is adapted to group ability and could be up to 5 miles. If you feel a shorter, gentler walk would suit you better, check out our Tuesday health walks.

This event is free. Donations are very welcome and will go directly towards caring for heritage and wildlife at Gibside.

Every Wednesday, 11am-12.30pm. No need to book.
