Join us for a guided dusk walk around the reedbeds and ponds in search of some of Gosforth Nature Reserve’s more secretive wetland birds and mammals.
A limited number of thermal imaging cameras will be provided; however, we encourage you to bring your own equipment if you have any.
Likely species for this walk include: Bittern, Otter, Water Rail, Kingfisher, Cetti's Warbler, Snipe.
Bus directions from Newcastle: Board the X7/X8 bus from Haymarket Bus Station. Get off the bus at BT call centre and walk down Salter’s Lane till you see Gosforth Nature Reserve on your left.
