Zine Workshop with Chitra Ganesh and Sofia Barton

Sat 7 Nov | 12:30–14:30

£6 Full Price / £4.50 Concessions*

Join artists Sofia Barton and Chitra Ganesh for a zine-making experience inspired by Ganesh’s exhibition, Journey to the Great Below.

Using a range of symbols and motifs from the exhibition, inspired by surrealism, science fiction, anime, and South Asian visual culture, participants will create their own otherworldly landscapes and portals. These individual worlds will be connected to create a multiverse concertina zine which will become part of Baltic’s Zine Library.

Part of Journeys, Myths & Connections. A programme of events responding to Chitra Ganesh’s current Baltic exhibition. This series will unfold over the month of November and offers experiences including a creative zine workshop, a Kathak dance performance, a cinema screening and multilingual exhibition tours of Journey to the Great Below.
