Fun for all the family to enjoy / Hwyl i'r teulu cyfan ei fwynhau

The Disabled Children's Team would like to welcome disabled children and young people, along with their parents / carers and siblings to a Family Play Session this Summer Holidays.

We would like to provide families with the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities, in a supported and non-judgemental environment.

There will be two sessions per day, morning and afternoon held at Llanwern High School.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Each individual attending a session will require a ticket.

Tickets are capped at 6 per family however if you do require more, please email children.withdisabilities@newport.gov.uk.

Please note:

This is a family play session, and parents/carers are required to support and supervise their children at all times. Play staff will be available during the session for additional support.

This is a nut-free environment. For the safety of all attendees, we kindly ask that no items containing nuts are brought into the building.

During the sessions, a range of sensory play activities will be available. Some of these activities may include edible materials such as cornflakes, rice crispies, rice, flour and pasta. If you have any allergies or dietary requirements, please contact us in advance so we can accommodate your needs.

We kindly ask that if you are unable to attend the event after booking, please let us know as soon as possible so we can cancel your tickets. Over the past six months, we’ve experienced a significant number of no-shows, which unfortunately prevents other families from attending due to limited spaces. Your cooperation helps ensure that everyone has the opportunity to take part. Thank you for your understanding.

Hoffem roi cyfle i deuluoedd gymryd rhan mewn amrywiaeth o weithgareddau, mewn amgylchedd cefnogol, anfeirniadol.

Bydd dwy sesiwn y dydd, y bore a'r prynhawn yn cael eu cynnal yn Ysgol Uwchradd Llan-wern.

Nifer cyfyngedig o leoedd sydd ar gael a byddant yn cael eu dyrannu ar sail y cyntaf i’r felin.

Bydd angen tocyn ar bob unigolyn sy'n mynychu sesiwn.

Sesiwn chwarae i'r teulu yw hon, ac mae'n rhaid i rieni/gofalwyr gefnogi a goruchwylio eu plant ar bob adeg. Bydd staff chwarae ar gael yn ystod y sesiwn am gymorth ychwanegol.

Mae hwn yn amgylchedd di-gnau. Er diogelwch yr holl fynychwyr, gofynnwn yn garedig nad ydych yn dod ag unrhyw eitemau sy'n cynnwys cnau i mewn i'r adeilad.

Yn ystod y sesiynau, bydd amrywiaeth o weithgareddau chwarae synhwyraidd ar gael. Gall rhai o'r gweithgareddau hyn gynnwys deunyddiau bwytadwy fel creision ŷd, Rice Krispies, reis, blawd a phasta. Os oes gennych unrhyw alergeddau neu ofynion dietegol, cysylltwch â ni ymlaen llaw fel y gallwn ddiwallu eich anghenion.
