The Disabled Children's Team would like to welcome disabled children and young people, along with their parents / carers and siblings to an inclusive and relaxed family workshop. The workshop will bring together arts, crafts, clay modelling and photography in a safe environment.

It’s designed for all ages and abilities, just come along ready to enjoy yourself at Newport Central Library.

Whether you want to try something new or just spend some quality time together this session is all about connecting through a shared activity.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Each individual attending a session will require a ticket.

Tickets are capped at 6 per family however if you do require more, please email children.withdisabilities@newport.gov.uk.

This is a family play session, and parents/carers are required to support and supervise their children at all times. Play staff will be available during the session for additional support however please note the Library will be open to the public during our sessions.

We kindly ask that if you are unable to attend the event after booking, please let us know as soon as possible so we can cancel your tickets. Over the past six months, we’ve experienced a significant number of no-shows, which unfortunately prevents other families from attending due to limited spaces. Your cooperation helps ensure that everyone has the opportunity to take part. Thank you for your understanding.
