On Saturday 7 November 2026, Legacy in Cardiff presents its weekly Saturday Shutdown, a free R&B and Afrobeats night kicking off from 10pm. The evening unfolds across two distinct rooms: one dedicated to the pulsating rhythms of Afrobeats, dancehall, reggae, and bashment, while the other delves into the smooth grooves of R&B and hip-hop. Resident DJs seamlessly shift between these sounds, maintaining a steady, infectious energy as the night progresses. The venue’s layout is designed to let the bass travel through both spaces, cultivating a continuous, immersive atmosphere that draws you deeper into the music. There are no tickets required, ensuring entry is straightforward and open to all. This weekly fixture offers a reliable, high-energy escape, where the blend of genres and the venue’s smart acoustics create a cohesive, late-night experience. Whether you’re swaying to Afrobeats or nodding along to hip-hop, the Saturday Shutdown promises a night where the rhythm never falters and the crowd moves as one.
