About This Event
This Summer of Play, the house and garden become a family play hub, packed with activities to spark creativity, imagination and adventure. Throughout the summer, enjoy soft archery (soft archery is suitable for children aged 6 years and over.) on Mondays and Tuesdays (plus Friday 31 July), 10.30am–4.30pm on the Tennis Court Lawn; storytime on Wednesdays, 11am–4pm in the Servants' Hall; badminton on Wednesdays to Sundays, 10.30am–4.30pm on the Tennis Court Lawn (excluding Friday 31 July); Nature Thursdays with Imagine Outdoors, 10.30am–3pm, starting from Star Path opposite the Croquet Lawn; Meet the Machines on Fridays throughout August, 11am–3pm (check event details); and potting, sowing and crafts on Saturdays and Sundays, 10.30am–4.30pm in the Thatched Cottage. Every day, take on the Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution Trail, discover Pokémon GO gameplay and PokéStops, build and play with loose parts on the Croquet Lawn, tie a ribbon in the Magnolia Tunnel, and dress up and perform in the Victorian Nursery. Make a day of it with children's picnic options and family favourites in the cafés, browse Summer of Play and Pokémon toys in the shop, and enjoy everything Lanhydrock has to offer this summer. Activities vary throughout the season, so check our website and follow our social media channels for the latest updates before your visit. Events are free. Normal admission applies.
