About This Event

The Fort at the end of the road is a free event at St Anthony Head. The event will allow attendees to have a walk, sit and stare at the blue yonder, or stop off for a break. The event is free to attend.

At the very tip of the peninsula, St Anthony Head is a perfect place to have a walk, a place to sit and stare at the blue yonder, or to stop off for a picnic. Hidden underground, in strange looking buildings and behind locked doors are decades of military history.

On selected dates each year we invite you to come along and find out how this quiet corner of Cornwall helped to protect our shores. From the late eighteenth century up to World War Two, this headland has played its part.
