Ready to take the next step? Attend our Football Academy Open Trials and show our coaches what you can do.

Moulton College Football Academy is the perfect environment for students who wish to progress their academics to the highest of standards, alongside an elite football programme that has generated success from college level right through to the national stage.

As part of our exciting partnership with Wellingborough Town Football Club, students have the opportunity to join the Wellingborough Town FC Scholarship, representing the club's U18/U19 teams in both the Northants Senior Youth League (Floodlit League) and the National Youth Alliance League.

This pathway also provides direct links to Wellingborough Town FC's Reserve and First Team Men's squads, as well as the Women's First Team, creating a clear route into senior football.

The Football Academy has a variety of teams competing at different levels of the footballing pyramid. From our Association of Colleges (AoC) squads, which cater for a range of abilities, to our performance teams competing at national level, there is a pathway for players looking to develop both on and off the pitch.

Our Open Trials are designed to identify players who have the potential to thrive within the Football Academy programme and represent both Moulton College and Wellingborough Town Football Club. This is a formal assessment process that gives applicants the opportunity to showcase their talent, attitude and commitment in front of our academy coaching staff.

Throughout the day, applicants will take part in a range of assessment activities which include football coaching sessions, small-sided games, strength and conditioning, classroom-based analysis sessions and player reviews. These activities allow academy staff to assess each player's technical ability, tactical understanding, physical attributes and overall suitability for the programme.

The Open Trials provide an opportunity for players to demonstrate their potential and be considered for a place within the Football Academy.
