About This Event

Summer Reading Challenge - Silent Disco is held at Wellingborough Library in Northampton on 27 August 2026. The event is free to attend and provides up to 50 headsets for children aged 4 to 12.

Come and enjoy a silent disco for children aged 4 to 12.

PLEASE NOTE

There are 50 headsets avaliable - siblings and parents not participating DO NOT need to book a ticket.

It is a one-hour silent disco session using wireless headphones, so it feels lively without loudspeaker noise in the library.

There are three clean music channels: a party channel for KS1 and KS2, a throwbacks channel for KS2, families and adults, and a charts channel for older KS2.

Each person controls their own volume, so children can dance, sing, watch first or join from the edge.
