The Jazz Room arrives at Northampton’s Picturedrome on Thursday 19 November 2026, offering an evening dedicated to the enduring songbooks of Frank Sinatra and Louis Armstrong. A collective of seasoned musicians recreates the warmth and swagger of mid-century jazz, moving from the brassy swell of Armstrong’s New Orleans roots to the intimate, cigarette-smoke croon of Sinatra’s saloon ballads. The setlist draws on classics such as Fly Me to the Moon, What a Wonderful World, and I’ve Got You Under My Skin, with arrangements that honour the original recordings while leaving space for live improvisation.
