To support the launch of The South Midlands Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) 2.0, alongside the Northamptonshire Business Exhibition on 24th September at the Mercure Hotel in Northampton we are hosting an event at 10:30 which will bring together key stakeholders from across our region.
Businesses across the South Midlands are struggling to recruit and develop people with the skills they need to grow. Tackling this challenge requires employers, education providers, local authorities and support organisations to work together.
This event will introduce the South Midlands Local Skills Improvement Plan 2.0 and explore how the region can move from identifying skills gaps to delivering practical, coordinated action.
Attendees will learn about the priorities within LSIP 2.0, what they mean for local employers and the support available to help businesses recruit new talent, develop their workforce and prepare for future skills needs.
