As part of Hodmedod's Open Day, try your hand at willow weaving with this workshop by The Coddiwomplers to weave a mini basket.

On Saturday 15th August, come along to Hodmedod’s Open Day, where the Coddiwomplers will be setting up their pop-up shop and running three short workshops throughout the day.

This third workshop is aimed at adults only.

Participants will learn to use the traditional rope weave to create a beautifully textural mini basket with a wooden bottom.

You'll also be able to take a look behind the scenes at Hodmedod's Suffolk Bean Store and browse their full range of British-grown pulses, grains, seeds, roasted snack pulses and stone-milled flours. You'll also find books, local fruit, vegetables and flowers, alongside produce from their friends and guest producers.

Come hungry, as baker Henrietta Inman from the Hodmedod Bakehouse will be serving tea, coffee and a tempting selection of seasonal bakes, lunches and sweet treats made with Hodmedod’s ingredients and produce from local growers and makers.

The day will be soundtracked by live folk music from The Kitchen Band, while the Hodmedod’s team will be on hand throughout to chat, answer questions and help you discover your next favourite ingredient.
