A relaxed, hands-on hairstyling workshop for dads, stepdads, grandads and father figures, run by Lucy from MOP (Hair and Wellbeing for Little Humans) in Yalm's Private Dining Room.

Over a drink, learn the basics of children's haircare: understanding different hair types, choosing the right brush and gently tackling tangles, then move on to ponytails, three-strand plaits, buns and everyday school-morning styles. Everyone gets their own mannequin head to practise on, with brushes, accessories and styling products provided. No experience needed.

£30 per person, including the workshop, one beer, glass of wine or soft drink, use of all equipment and resources to take home. Just 16 places. This is an adult workshop; all practice is on mannequin heads. Food and further drinks are available to buy at Yalm, and the room is booked for the evening if you'd like to stay on afterwards.
