We'll be ending 2026 with a classic dystopian novel that the predicted the future with striking accuracy: **Parable of the Sower** by Octavia E. Butler An iconic dystopian novel that feels disturbingly close to our own world. Set in a collapsing America plagued by climate disaster, inequality, and violence, the story follows Lauren Olamina, a young woman with a fierce mind and a radical vision for something better. Butler’s world is harsh, but her protagonist’s determination to imagine and build something different makes the novel truly hopeful. Gripping, urgent, and rich with themes of resilience, justice, and transformation, Parable of the Sower is perfect for those willing to explore big questions about the future and our responsibility to shape it. ___________________________________ The book club will be hosted at 12pm on 06/DEC/2026 at: The Yard Coffee, 1A, Pivotal House, Red Lion St, Norwich NR1 3TB ___________________________________ * The venue is wheelchair accessible. * If the event is full but you’d still like to attend, feel free to email us to check for extra availability. if you have any questions, contact is at: FeministBookClub@Hotmail.com
