Join us at Namaste Village Norwich as we proudly hoist the Indian Tricolour, sing the Indian National Anthem, and come together to honour India's journey to independence with pride, unity, and community spirit.

Following the flag-hoisting ceremony, enjoy the opportunity to meet and connect with fellow members of the Indian community, local residents, and friends over complimentary refreshments, chai, and light snacks.

This event is warmly open to everyone—regardless of background, faith, or nationality—who values freedom and honours the quiet responsibility that comes with it. Living in a different country, true integration means enriching the local culture with the very best of our values: dissolving seamlessly into the community like sugar in water, adding sweetness without noise.

For many of us living away from home, Independence Day is a time to reconnect with our roots and celebrate our shared heritage while fostering harmony and deep connections in our adopted home.
