Welcome to Norwich. We have planned 10 days full of activity to help you make friends, practise English and be part of a community.

Friends International Norwich and UEA Christian Union invite every international student to join them in their International Welcome programme. A program full of activities, all of them free! Check our program and book free tickets for the events you want to attend:

Wednesday 9th, 6.30 pm at UEA Faith Centre: Welcome meal. Meet us at The Square in UEA campus to go together for a free meal with other international students and local volunteers.

Thursday 10th, 4pm at UEA Faith Centre: Welcome meal.: Afternoon tea. We all know British people love tea. But have you tried a traditional British tea? Don't miss this opportunity. Meet us at The Square to walk together

Friday 11th, 6.30pm at UEA Faith Centre: Welcome meal. Meet us at The Square in UEA campus to go together for a free meal with other international students and local volunteers.

Saturday 12th, 11am: The Forum (Millenium Plain, NR2 1TF) Jump on bus 25 or 26 and go to the city centre, where we will offer a free tour of the city.

Sunday 13th, 10am: Visit a local church near UEA and join them for a free lunch! There will be a Christian service at 10am, followed by free lunch in community. If you are happy to go earlier, you can join them at 9am for a breakfast with pancakes!

Monday 14th, 6.30pm. Visit a home. British people are known for their hospitality. If you want to visit a British home with your friends or other internationals, sign up!

Wednesday 16th, 6.30pm. International dinner! Join us for a celebration of our favourite foods around the world. You can bring something from your country and share with others or simply come and try food from different places. We will meet at St Andrews Eaton church (41 Church Lane, Norwich NR4 6NW) Only 8 minutes by bus or 25 minutes walk from UEA

Thursday 17th, 1-5 pm. Craft afternoon. Come and learn to make some arts and crafts at UEA.

Saturday, 19th, 3pm: Help with your shopping. Do you need help to find the supermarkets near campus and carry your shopping? A group of students and volunteers will meet you to give you a hand
