A Different Kitchen, a project fuelled by remorse and shared through personal experience. Blurring the lines between psychedelic-rock and post-punk, the Norwich/Lincoln outfit have specialised in writing thoughtful and achingly personal songs, exploring the darker side of grief, loss and social injustice. The quintet pairs a unique blend of fragile emotion and unfiltered raw energy, resulting in an intense listening experience designed for live consumption. 'Crying in Colour’ are a female-fronted alt rock band from Norwich who make noise and write deep lyrics. Musically, they take inspiration from a number of different genres including grunge, hard rock, pop punk and indie. Think early era 'Paramore' and grunge legends 'Alice in Chains'. Although fairly fresh on the scene, they’re already making some waves, scoring BBC Introducing track of the week and taking their music to legendary local venues, opening for bands such as ‘Mouth Culture’.
