Take an enchanting boat trip from Ranworth to St Benet’s Abbey and experience first-hand the beauty and wonder of this unique landscape. The guided boat trip will moor at St Benet's Abbey and visitors will be able to disembark for a short walk to explore the beautiful landscape of the abbey site.

Important Information

The boat trip departure is from the Ranworth Broad Visitor Centre located on Ranworth Broad. Please allow 20 minutes to walk from the NWT car park to Ranworth Broad. The route is through the village towards the church and right along Broad Lane before arriving at the reserve entrance on the right. Follow along the boardwalk to the broad. There are no toilets at the centre, or for the duration of the trip. Public toilets are available in Ranworth village opposite the Maltsters Pub.

Important Health and Safety Information - please read prior to booking

We strongly recommend wearing stout and waterproof footwear and warm, waterproof clothing. To allow for maximum all-round observation the boat is an open craft and during the trip we will be entering some relatively exposed areas. Passengers will need to be able to negotiate (on foot) two steep steps into the boat so please consider this when making a booking.
