This is an Olivier nominated musical with upbeat modern music. It stars Beverley Knight as Emmeline Pankhurst. The musical is on a limited tour of 5 theatres before appearing at The Royal Albert Hall for more performances. This celebrates the life of Emmeline Pankhurst's rebellious middle daughter, Sylvia. It outlines her role in the Suffragette movement and how she helped to bring change to millions of lives: the joy and passion of these women is celebrated. Helen Pankhurst, Sylvia's granddaughter, says she is thrilled by this tour and that " the themes it explores are as relevant and topical as ever". I've booked seat L5 upstairs. Please book your own ticket/s as there is a choice of views and prices. We can meet before and plan this, so that this is also a social event. Message with any queries. We will meet upstairs at the bar from 7 pm and the show starts at 7.30 pm. This is the area in the middle and next to the bar with round tables.. Parking at The Forum is a standard evening fee of £3.50 - so you can pay on entry for a speedier exit after the show. There are also car parks along theatre street and behind the theatre. Toilets inside. Refreshments on sale. No group fees....
