We at Ideal Surreal Towers are delighted to present an evening of local lo fi entertainment at The Holloway on Saturday 29th August. Its an extra special event because it is our last (maybe) of all time, ever!

Slackdaws - Since 2020, Shane O’Linski has retired from his eminent role as one of Norwich’s most prolific musicians and influential promoters, who taught me everything I know. Slackdaws is Shane performing with Ryan Williamson (Off with their Records) on drums plus an incandescent cast of whatever satellites fall into orbit for the occasion. If you’re unfamiliar with Shane’s unique brand of eccentric indie pop, or have forgotten his genius then this is the show for you. ffo Syd Barrett and The Beatles.

Supporting are;

Cruiser Chimps – a punky three-piece from Norwich.

Toast - genre-blending punk rhythms and progressive riffs from the Fine City.

I've been booking and supporting DIY music since I was a teenager and earth has circled the moon over 20 times since I began. Unfortunately aging equals less free time, and less free time makes music difficult, hence our long goodbye, I look forward to seeing you there!!
