About This Event

The UEA University of Sanctuary holds its annual celebration at the University of East Anglia in Norwich on 2 October 2026. The gathering focuses on community and courage with various performers. Admission to the event is free.

Join us to celebrate community and courage at the annual UEA University of Sanctuary gathering.

We apologise again that this event had to change date. It is now fully confirmed for Friday 2nd of October from 17.00-19.00. We look forward to welcoming you to celebrate with the UEA University of Sanctuary community on this evening.

We are incredibly excited that the event will include the launch of the community cookbook Flavours of Sanctuary. It will also celebrate the many projects which have taken place within UEA University of Sanctuary in 2025 and 2026, including Courage in Community, a photography project, and the University of Sanctuary International Women's Group. Inspirational speakers will share what courage, community and higher educations means to them.
