The walking tour will explore lesser-known alleyways of the medieval city, uncovering their historical significance through guided tours. The route is almost circular, returning to the bottom of Westlegate once the tour is over. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the secrets of various alleys, including Weaver's Lane, Boar's Head yard, Winall's Yard, Chapel Loke, Lady Julian's cell, Old Barge yard, Stepping Lane and Grouts yard.

The tour will be led by local guide Jonathan Hooton, who will introduce participants to the stories behind these hidden alleyways. The walk will take approximately 1 ½ hours and will involve several slopes and steps, although the footways are generally reasonable.

The tour will commence outside the tower of St Peter Mancroft, opposite the Forum, and will end at the bottom of Westlegate.
