Andy Bucks: Acid Nerd/Alan Sugar Can Do One will take place at the Cock and Hoop in Nottingham on 7 November 2026 at 20:40. The event is a comedy performance, but the price of tickets is not publicly available. The performer is Andy Bucks.
An hour of stand-up silliness from award-winning goofball. Andy brings his ‘acid nerd’ style of comedy to Nottingham, telling the story of how he applied to the hit entrepreneur factory farm The Apprentice. Courtesy of low-quality footage captured on his phone, you can now bear witness to Andy’s dreams getting mercilessly crushed by some wackass Sugar Minions with no joie de vivre. Along the way, Andy will cover a variety of other stupid topics including laughing cow cheese, forceful removal of pubic hair, and hymns. Strictly no BBC lawyers allowed.
“Reminiscent of James Acaster, he nevertheless quickly escapes comparison through a voice that is entirely his own.” - Varsity
“Too evocative of James Acaster.” - Chortle
