Eve Makis, Where the Earth Holds Secrets – go all in with Hidden Histories

Join us for an interactive event celebrating the release of Where the Earth Holds Secrets by Eve Makis - a powerful new novel inspired by the true story of missing persons in Cyprus and the author’s own family history.

Eve will share insights into her research behind the book, the process of transforming personal and historical stories into fiction, and the hidden histories that shape families and communities across generations.

Audience members will also be invited to reflect on the hidden stories within their own families and communities. Come and share your memories, ask questions, and discuss other works shaped by personal histories.

Perfect for readers, writers and anyone interested in family stories, memory and the secrets the past can hold.
