University of Nottingham will face Exeter at our next Headliner to open our 2026/27 BUCS Super Rugby Season!

Join us at Highfields Sport Complex for the opening day of the 2026/27 BUCS Super Rugby campaign as University of Nottingham take on Exeter in our first Headliner fixtures of the year!

Our men's rugby union side will be playing at Highfields Sports Complex, a short walk away from University Park Campus as we open the new BUCS Super Rugby season.

Kick-off for the match is scheduled for 7pm.

The #GreenandGold take on perennial contenders Exeter in the opening match of our 2026/27 BUCS Super Rugby campaign.

Our Headliner series showcases the elite sporting talent representing the University of Nottingham in BUCS competition, right here on campus!

The series delivers Headliner events with superb spectator experience. From live DJ's to a fantastic atmosphere, this first Headliner of 2026/27 will be one not to miss. The event, held during welcome week, is only a short walk from Halls on the edge of University Park and will feature an outdoor bar, food and refreshments area.

Prior to the match you an also watch the University of Nottingham Women's 1st XV play a friendly fixture against Loughborough (3 x 30 mintue games).

Getting to Highfields & Entry

The match will take place at Highfields Sports Complex, and due to a lack of parking, we encourage spectators to use public transport wherever possible as parking is by appointment only.

Gates open for the fixture at 5pm and you will be able to enter by scanning you eticket.

Carry-in policy

Sealed bottles of water and soft drinks, and personal size food items (e.g., a sandwich, crisps, piece of fruit) are all permitted. Strictly no alcohol is permitted to be brought into the complex.

Concessions

Food and drink will be available inside from various concessions stands. These operate via Cashless payment only (options include credit/debit cards).

Parking

Parking on-site is restricted and by appointment only and therefore there is limited parking availability at Highfields Sports Complex.
