A guided circular walk from Belton House to Bellmount Tower takes place at Belton Estate in Nottingham. Led by walk leaders, the route passes through Old Wood and across Brigade Road. The event is free.
Join one of our Walk Leaders for a circular walk up to Bellmount Tower. Walk up to Old Wood, before heading down Brigade Road across the once WWI Training Camp, cross over Five Gates Road into Thorpe Fields, which had billeted troops from both WWI and WWII, before heading up into Bellmount Plantation and to the Tower. After visiting the tower, proceed down Eastern Avenue back to the mansion.
Whether you are already knowledgeable about the local environment or looking to find out more, everyone is sure to learn something.
This walk is part of Belton's Community Festival which offers free access to the whole estate across the weekend of 5 and 6 September 2026.
