Join our women's network for a Podcasting 101 with Caron. You probably have almost everything you need to get your voice out there!
Thinking about starting a podcast but put off by the equipment, software, editing and production costs?
Podcast production can seem unnecessarily complicated, particularly when professional services present it as a substantial technical undertaking.
But for many small businesses, creatives and independent professionals, the technology they already own is more than capable of producing a podcast worth listening to.
Join creative producer and digital technologist Caron-Jane Lyon for a 45-minute introduction to getting a polished podcast recorded and published without unnecessary expense or complexity.
Drawing on her experience of producing podcasts, livestreams and digital content, Caron will share a straightforward approach to podcast production, explain what you actually need and identify which parts of the process you can confidently manage yourself.
We'll look at the journey from recording a conversation on your phone to making it available on major podcast platforms, with a few practical tips for achieving a result you're happy to share.

Jenni will show us round the facilities at the Createry and is offering Blue Stockings Subscribers (who book time before the end of the year) £60 for 4 pay-as-you-go hours, saving £20. Podcast studios are usually over £100/hour + equipment, so it's a huge saving and then discounted on top. They also have equipment people can just use with their phones if they want to minimise the tech stuff but still have high quality sound and the studio look.
