Open mic at Sumac means a relaxed, low-pressure Friday evening at their monthly acoustic open mic night. This isn't a loud, packed pub—it’s an incredibly friendly, independent community space with a lovely "living room" vibe. Past events have featured everything from singer-songwriters to spoken word, usually finishing with a fun, multicultural jam session. It's a great spot to chat and connect without shouting over a heavy sound system. 📍 Where: Sumac Centre, 245 Gladstone Street, New Basford, NG7 6HX (Accessible entrance available at 73 Beech Avenue, NG7 7LR) ⏰ When: Friday, November 6th *6:30 PM – Meetup Arrival Window: Let's gather early to secure some seats together, grab a drink, and do introductions before the music starts. *7:00 PM – 10:00 PM – Music & Open Mic 🌿 Food & Drink: Sumac is volunteer-run and completely vegan-friendly, with cheap drinks and cozy vibes.
