Step inside a completed retrofit and get a guided tour of the staged improvements to discover what could be possible for your home.

The Nottingham Energy Partnership retrofit show-home is complete, and local homeowners are invited to come and explore it for themselves.

Featuring high-performance insulation, underfloor heating, solar panels, double glazing and a heat pump, the show-home brings together a range of measures that can improve a home’s energy efficiency, comfort and performance.

Across three identical guided sessions throughout the day, you will have the opportunity to tour the home, see retrofit measure up close and get practical tips and ideas that you could take away for your own property. The hour-long session will include an introduction to the home and the retrofit measures used, followed by a guided walkthrough and time for questions.

Working in collaboration with the East Midlands Combined County Authority, the Home Energy Advice Team (HEAT) Hub has organised this event to help local homeowners understand what a completed retrofit can look like and how they might approach improvements to their own homes.

Whether you are considering home energy improvements, planning an extension, renovation or simply curious about what retrofit involves, this is a chance to see the possibilities first-hand and get a better understanding of the options available to you.

Come along, have a look around, ask questions and discover what is achievable in your home.
