About This Event

The royal court is resurrected through movement and music in these Elizabethan dance workshops. Guided by Rosie and Ruth, children are transformed into courtiers for a day of historical exploration. This immersive experience brings the vibrancy of the Tudor era to life at Hardwick.

Hear ye, hear ye! Join our vibrant Elizabethan dance workshop where kids become courtiers for the day. Rosie and Ruth will bring the royal court to life through movement and music, teaching easy to learn steps like the stately Pavane to the lively Galliard. Children will build co-ordination, explore history and experience the thrilling music of the Tudor Court. No prior dance knowledge is required.

With this dance workshop, learn the basics of court etiquette, exciting chorography, and how to party like a Tudor! This workshop is 3 hours long and will include a break, a snack, and juice box. Please find the session below that best fits your child:

10am – 1pm | For ages 8 – 11-year-olds

2pm – 5pm | For ages 11 – 14-year-olds

All children must be accompanied by an adult.
