Learn the traditional Palestinian art of Tatreez embroidery with Nawal Shlemiah, founder of Women in Hebron

We are delighted to welcome Nawal Shlemiah, founder of Women in Hebron, who is joining us from the West Bank. Nawal will introduce us to the traditional Palestinian art of Tatreez embroidery.

Women in Hebron (https://womeninhebron.com/) is a women's fair-trade cooperative that supports artisans across the Hebron district, helping women generate income, support their families, and preserve Palestinian cultural heritage through traditional handicrafts.

Join us to learn a new skill, connect with Palestinian culture, and hear about the work of the cooperative and the communities it supports.

All proceeds from the workshop will go directly to Women in Hebron, supporting the women of the cooperative and their families across the Hebron area. At a time when communities in the West Bank are facing increasing violence, restrictions, and economic hardship, your support can make a meaningful difference.
