The Cycle Bridges Ride connects three local bike-friendly bridges via mostly off-road routes suitable for reasonably confident riders. This scenic spin starts at Canalside Heritage Centre in Nottingham on 3 October 2026 and is free to join.
The Cycle Bridges Ride is a scenic spin connecting 3 local bike-friendly bridges. Mostly off road and for reasonably confident riders.
Mostly on cycle and tow paths, we'll aim to check out both the Millennium and (the all new) Erewash bridges on the Cloud Trail and Route 6.
This is a ride for the reasonably confident rider or if you've been on one of our previous rides. Most of the route is very easy going but there will be a short section of unvetted canal towpath (Shardlow - Cloud Trail junction). If you want to know more/have questions ask in/join the Facebook group Nottingham Velo Venturers....at least a week b4 the ride.
