Our annual event celebrating communtiy and creativity while supporting those affected by dementia.

Join us for a welcoming and inspiring day celebrating the creativity, identity and strengths of people affected by dementia. Trent Dementia works collaboratively with people affected by dementia, our craft group is celebrating 6 years of working together this year.

Whether you are living with dementia, supporting a family member or friend, or working in health, social care or the voluntary sector, this event offers an opportunity to come together, connect with others and enjoy a range of creative activities in a relaxed, dementia-friendly environment.

The day will begin with refreshments, followed by the unveiling of a special community artwork inspired by the work of L.S. Lowry and created through our collaborative painting project. Throughout the day you'll have the opportunity to take part in a choice of creative activities including painting, sewing, silk painting and our welcoming social club, where conversation and friendship are encouraged.

After lunch, everyone is invited to enjoy a gentle chair yoga session before a second opportunity to explore the creative activities. We will end the day by celebrating everyone's contributions and reflecting on the importance of identity, creativity and community in living well with dementia.
