A fun and festive willow Christmas decoration workshop at Attenborough Nature Reserve!

Discover the art of willow weaving and get creative as you make a selection of beautiful handmade Christmas decorations, including mini reindeer, Christmas trees and stars. Our expert guide, Poppy (Wild and Wonder Notts), will take you through the process step by step, sharing tips and techniques along the way.

The workshop takes place in a small, friendly group, giving you plenty of opportunity to learn, ask questions and enjoy getting creative with willow. You’ll leave with a collection of handmade decorations to enjoy at home or give as thoughtful Christmas gifts.

Please meet by the picnic benches in front of Attenborough Nature Centre (NG9 6DY). From there, we’ll make our way together to our private woodland area for the workshop.

As the workshop takes place outdoors, please make sure you dress appropriately for the weather and wear suitable footwear. In the event of high winds or extreme temperatures, the workshop will be moved indoors.

Come along, get creative and enjoy a festive afternoon surrounded by nature!
