Monthly indoor-outdoor workshop for ages 5-9 & adult/s

Nature Club - 'Brilliant Bats' hands-on workshop for ages 5-9 at the Science Oxford Centre

Feel the love for brilliant bats during the wintry season at November’s Nature Club! See bat bones with a skeleton X-ray comparison, and colour and cut out a cool bat mask. Spot our bat boxes outside in the woodland, and discover more about how bats roost and what they need to survive and thrive. Play the 'bat game' and learn about echolocation, using your voice and ears to avoid obstacles and move towards your prey – blindfolded! Make a flapping paper bat to take home and decorate your home, or bat cave!
