About the site:
Horspath Wildlife Conservation Area is a former railway cutting now rich in woodland and wildlife. At its heart is a disused railway tunnel that serves as an important winter hibernation site for several bat species, including Daubenton’s, Brown Long-eared, Natterer’s and the rare Barbastelle. With ponds, woodland and a peaceful circular path, it’s a great place to slow down, explore and notice nature.
We look forward to seeing you there!
