About This Event

Oxford Brookes University will once again open its doors for the annual Science Bazaar on Saturday, 20 February 2027, with proceedings commencing at 9.30am. This entirely free event has been designed to captivate families and children of all ages through a rich programme of hands-on workshops and live demonstrations. Visitors are invited to explore a wide array of interactive exhibits spanning biology, chemistry, engineering and physics, all led by the university’s own researchers and a team of enthusiastic student volunteers. The overarching aim of the day is to spark curiosity and encourage experimentation through practical, engaging activities rather than formal lectures or presentations. Every session is included within the complimentary admission, and there is no requirement to book in advance, allowing guests to simply turn up and immerse themselves in the scientific fun.
