About This Event

The Natural Pause on 30 October 2026 at Haddon Acre is a women's gathering designed to foster connection with nature and promote relaxation. Participants can expect a space to unwind and cultivate a sense of belonging, with tickets priced at £16.96.

A women’s gathering with nature in mind. A pause from the day to day, to unhurry, unwind, to cultivate a sense of belonging and connection.

The Natural Pause

Join me for an in-person gathering where you can slow down, unwind and take some time to yourself. Each gathering is intentionally designed to help you relax and to come into presence with yourself, eachother and nature.

Through a nature-based activity you will be invited to leave the daily demands life behind you and enter a relaxing experience. I aim to facilitate a shift from being 'in our heads' to engaging our senses and exploring aspects of mindfulness, all in collaboration with nature and rooted in the current season*.

To capture our time on the land we will have time for something creative, whether through drawing, capturing words or thoughts, working with clay. I always have materials handy and zero artistry or experience is required!

After our activity we gather in circle, perhaps hearing something of what was experienced. When women come together something powerful can happen. I offer a nurturing space and encourage you to come as you are, as well as to bring your honest and authentic voice. I open up the conversation to find our common threads, the ones that connect us, as women and humans.

*The darker months are upon us so the suggested schedule may vary slightly and might mean more cosy yurt-time than outdoor time, although I will encourage you to embrace darkness. Please bring a torch.

What to expect:

a beautiful yurt at our disposal

guided relaxation time: a mix of light breathwork, meditation and/or guided imagination journey

a nature-based activity prompting presence, connection & reflection

a nurturing space inviting you to be seen, felt and heard

a form of creative expression to capture your experience

a felt sense of wellbeing and relaxation and some great company too!

an hour and a half guided session by Nina

tea and chocolate included

About Nina

Nina is a nature facilitator, eco-therapist and eco-depth practitioner. In a time of personal turmoil she found her way back to nature which put her life very much on a 'new and improved' trajectory. She believes that the living world has always been our home: the ground beneath our feet for hundreds of thousands of years, long before modern life pulled us indoors, online, and into the relentless pace of days that leave little room to breathe, let alone to 'just be'. Part of Nina's work is to facilitate The Natural Pause. "I encourage others to slow down, to notice and to seek connection with the natural world as a ‘remedy’ against a fast-paced and demanding world."
