The Oxford Agentic Coding Bootcamp takes place on 26 November 2026 at Worcester College in Oxford. Participants will spend a practical day building and shipping a live website and working product prototype using Claude Code and Codex.
A practical, hands-on day to build and ship a live website and working product prototype with Claude Code and Codex.
mBuild and ship two things you own outright: a live website and a working product prototype.
The Oxford Agentic Coding Bootcamp is a practical, hands-on day for people who understand the concepts but have not yet built and shipped something of their own. Claude Code and Codex do the typing; you learn the workflow around them, from the brief to version control, deployment and testing.
It does not assume you can code. By five o’clock, you will have shipped a personal website live on the internet and a working product prototype that saves real data and has basic tests.
What we’ll cover
- Context before code: writing the brief the agent reads first, and asking for a plan before it builds
- Your workbench: the editor, terminal and repositories
- Version control as your undo button: commits, branches and pull requests
- Shipping: deploying to the web, preview links and going live
- Giving it a memory: a real database, API keys and what never goes in the repository
- Trust but verify: tests, fact-checking what the AI wrote and a second model reviewing the code
- Testing on a real person: swapping prototypes and capturing feedback
How the day runs
Every session is show, then do, with facilitators moving between tables.
You’ll leave with
- A personal website live on the internet, in your own GitHub repository
- A working product prototype that saves real data and has basic tests
- A take-home kit of the prompts and commands used on the day, plus guidance on keeping costs under control
