Emily Mercer

Emily Mercer is a Manchester based indie artist with some serious range. Her genre-defiant music reveals ongoing themes of truth seeking, self sabotage, and all that make us messy and human. With a sound that is at once nostalgic and strikingly modern, her songs are the sum of many parts, from indie pop hooks to jazz-inspired harmony backed by wavy keys and lo-fi beats. The result is a warm and textured soundscape that digs deep. Through a sharp lyricism and playful cynicism
