One Leg One Eye is an experimental drone and avant-folk project created by Ian Lynch, a founding member of the acclaimed Irish traditional music group Lankum. Initially a solo endeavor to explore darker, mythic soundscapes, it has since evolved into a duo with the addition of producer and multi-instrumentalist George Brennan. Their sound merges raw, traditional Irish instrumentation—primarily the wails and drones of the uileann pipes—with the aesthetics of black metal, industrial noise, and field recordings.
