All About Roses is an accessible introduction designed for anyone interested in learning the basics of successful rose cultivation. This informative session will explore the different types of roses, how to choose the best variety for your garden, and the essentials of planting and establishment. You’ll also learn practical techniques for training and supporting roses, effective pruning methods, and the best approaches to feeding and ongoing care. Designed to answer some of the most common questions about growing roses, the talk aims to make rose gardening more straightforward and accessible, helping to dispel the mystery that often surrounds these popular plants. Many of the tips and techniques shared can also be applied to other areas of gardening. The session will be delivered by Adrian Miles, a dedicated rose enthusiast with many years of hands-on experience. His knowledge is supported by specialist training and coursework with Peter Beales Roses and David Austin Roses, offering attendees practical advice and expert insight. Suitable for 16+.
