Join historian Alistair Moffat for a fascinating journey into the hidden stories of Britain’s wartime resistance. During the Second World War, thousands of ordinary men and women across the UK found their own ways to fight against the Nazis from home. Some intercepted coded messages sent by German intelligence and passed vital information to Bletchley Park, while others were recruited into secret auxiliary units prepared to undertake dangerous missions behind enemy lines. In this captivating talk, Alistair Moffat uncovers these often-overlooked stories of courage, sacrifice and resilience, shining a light on the remarkable individuals whose contributions have too often gone unrecognised.
