Performing the album in full alongside additional material from the Blues Breakers' classic mid-1960s repertoire, the band brings together experienced musicians from the worlds of blues, rock and jazz in a tribute to a record whose

influence continues to be felt nearly six decades after its release.

At the heart of the project is drummer Sonny Flint, son of original Blues Breakers drummer Hughie Flint, providing a unique personal connection to the music while remaining firmly focused on the energy, musicianship and spirit that made the original recordings so enduring. At the heart of the project is drummer Sonny Flint, whose father Hughie Flint played on the original Blues Breakers with Eric Clapton album. Alongside him are vocalist and harmonica player Laine Hines, guitarist Neil Roberts, bassist Pete Billing, keyboard player Rick Pentecost and saxophonist Greg Heath.

Together, the band combines decades of live performance experience, drawing on backgrounds that range from blues and rock to jazz and soul. The result is a performance that captures the spirit, musicianship and energy of the original recordings while bringing together the individual strengths of each player.
