Experience the magic of Christmas at The Black Watch Castle and Museum with a festive family day packed with seasonal fun for all ages. Meet Santa as he takes you on a magical tour through the Museum galleries, then put your elf skills to the test in our Elf Training Workshop, where budding elves can earn their very own elf certificate. Throughout the day, families can also enjoy cookie decorating, festive crafts including Cardboard-Tube Santas and Christmas masks, a Christmas trail through the Museum and a festive object handling table where you can discover historical Christmas artefacts. With plenty to see, make and explore, the Winter Festival is a wonderful way to spend time together and make magical Christmas memories at the Castle. Winter Festival Sessions Morning Sessions 10am registration: 10.15am Santa Tour and 11am Elf Workshop 11am registration: 11.15am Santa Tour and 12pm Elf Workshop Afternoon Sessions 12pm registration: 12.15pm Santa Tour and 1pm Elf Workshop 1pm registration: 1.15pm Santa Tour and 2pm Elf Workshop 2pm registration: 2.15pm Santa Tour and 3pm Elf Workshop Pre-booked sessions run throughout the day. Please select your preferred session when booking. All children must be accompanied by a paying adult.
